Fix Linksys RE6500 Installation Error

There are several ways to solve the installation problems associated with the Linksys RE6500 extender. All of these suggestions should be considered.

Latest Firmware: You can download the latest version of the software file by logging in to your Linksys web management page. Access this page and click on the software upgrade option under network advanced. Install the file on your Wi-Fi device and then restart the Linksys extender to complete the process.

Linksys Extender Reset: The reset button is located on the bottom or left side of the extender’s panel. Put a hair clip into the reset button to activate it. All LEDs will go off at this time, and with the indication of all off LEDs, it means the device has been completely reset. Once reset, download the Linksys RE6500 setup procedure once again to set up the Linksys extender.
